The Price Media Law mooting programme for 2014-15 had an exciting start with the 5th South Asian Regional Rounds in Delhi in late November. Organised in collaboration with the National Law University- Delhi, the teams from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan debated this year’s case that addresses highly contemporary issues of religion, hate speech, and incitement to violence. The National Law University, Jodhpur was the winner and Nalsar, Hyderabad was the runner up and will lead the top five 5 teams to the International Rounds in Oxford in March 2015.

The South Asia Rounds were followed by the Asia Pacific Rounds hosted by Renmin University. This was the second year of the competition, but the first year that teams were welcomed not just from within China, but also from the Asia-Pacific Region. The University of the Philippines was this edition’s winner. We are now looking forward to the South East Europe Regional Rounds in December.
