September saw graduates and friends coming together at four international events to celebrate the global reach of Oxford Law. These events provided our alumni with an opportunity to catch up with old friends whilst developing social and career networks.

Pinsent Masons MPillay LLP generously hosted a drinks reception in Singapore. Oxford’s Pinsent Masons Professor of Taxation Law, Judith Freedman, gave a brief introductory talk about recent developments in the Faculty of Law at the start of the reception.

Judith also joined the Dean in Tokyo to give a topical lecture entitled: 'Is the international tax system broken?' At a drinks reception and dinner, Judith and Timothy shared news of current changes in the Faculty, including developments of Oxford programmes in Asia. Our thanks to the University of Oxford Japan Office for organising these events.

The Dean also visited the west coast of America and hosted receptions at Hogan Lovells in San Francisco and at the Jonathan Club in LA. He very much enjoyed catching up with Oxford Law alumni in the States.
