Rachel Condry, Associate Professor in Criminology, was in Finland at the beginning of June to give an invited paper to a symposium organised by Professor Martha Nussbaum (University of Chicago) and the Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies, University of Helsinki. The theme of the symposium was ‘Reconciliation and Forgiveness’ and Rachel’s paper addressed the topic of forgiveness and anger at the personal and family level and its implications for criminal justice.
