Building project notices w/c 25 January 2016

Ways to progress works in the GF toilet area are being considered. An update will follow once working times have been confirmed.

Works on Saturday 23rd January

  • GF BLL area - Plasterboard walls and ceilings

w/c 25th January

  • GF bricklaying to BLL and main lift and internal walls
  • GF/FF/SF BLL area drilling and fixing into concrete for mechanical/electrical works
  • GF/FF/SF BLL area fixing and drilling into concrete for metal frame ceiling
  • GF BLL area plaster skim to partitions and ceilings
  • GF BLL lift shaft waterproof laying
  • SF BLL area screwing plasterboard to metal frame grid
  • BLL lift shaft drilling and screwing into timber for formwork
  • External – bricklaying to BLL book delivery extension
  • External – scaffold erection for BLL book delivery extension


Works that are expected to be completed during the week after (w/c 1st Feb) are as follows:

  • FF/SF BLL area screwing plasterboard to metal frame ceiling
  • FF/SF BLL area plaster skim to partitions and ceilings
  • GF BLL area decorations/painting to walls and ceilings
  • GF BLL lift ground bearing slab reinstatement
  • External – fixing timber joists for roof structure of book delivery extension
