Oxford Women in Law (OWL): How to Work a Room

To celebrate International Women's Day, OWL (the Faculty of Law's network for graduates of the University of Oxford) and Oxford10 (the official young community of Oxford University) joined forces. We organised a joint networking event and panel discussion for alumni: 'How to work a room'.

Speakers included:

Christine Fairchild - Director of Alumni Relations, University of Oxford

Liz Heathfield - Head of Business Development (Groups) for Pinsent Masons LLP

Fatema Orjela - Partner at Kirkland & Ellis and founder of Women in London Law (WILL)

Piers Prichard Jones - Partner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP

Claire Wright- Graduate Recruitment Partner, Allen & Overy LLP

Chair: Ariana Adjani – Oxford 10 and co-founder of Fine Treatment

A drinks reception followed the lively and informative panel discussion and alumni had the opportunity to practise their networking skills! We are grateful to Pinsent Masons LLP for generously hosting and supporting this event.
