Comparative Socio-Legal Studies, special issue for December 2016

A special issue of International Journal of Law in Context (Volume 12, Issue 4 December 2016) is now available, exploring the comparative in Socio-legal Studies.

The idea for this issue was born out of a conference under the same title hosted at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies Centre in December 2014, under the auspices of the Socio-Legal Studies Association.

The issue is edited by members of the Centre: Fernanda Pirie, Agnieszka Kubal and Naomi Creutzfeldt, and features articles by David Nelken, Petra Mahy, Naomi Creutzfeldt, Marc Hertogh and Marina Kurkchiyan, Agnieszka Kubal  and Eleanor Pritchard, looking comparatively at various types of laws in societies across Europe and Asia.
