Oxford Law in Toronto

The first Oxford Law Alumni reception in Toronto since 2008 took place on the 23 of June thanks to the gracious hospitality of Norton Rose Fulbright. The congenial venue with views overlooking Toronto’s financial district offered an ideal atmosphere for academics and alumni to join in conversation. Michelle Gage, Norton Rose Fulbright’s National Director of Legal Talent, welcomed Professor Anne Davies, Dean of the Oxford Faculty of Law, who spoke briefly on the developments in the Faculty, including news of a new part-time DPhil programme being launched. Professor Brian Langille, Professor of Law at the University of Toronto, reflected on his time in the BCL programme and the students shared by both universities. Other academics who attended include Professors Timothy Endicott, Hugh Collins, Dr Tarun Khaitan and Dr Sandy Steel.
