The Faculty and the PIL group congratulate Ms Yulia Ioffe on her selection by the International Court of Justice to participate in its 2018-2019 Judicial Fellows Programme
This Programme is at the International Court of Justice, located at the Peace Palace, The Hague and Yulia will be assigned to H.E. Judge James R. Crawford.
As the result of a very generous donation and further funds raised by members of the Oxford Public International law subject group, the Oxford Law Faculty is able to offer funding to Ms Yulia Ioffe to undertake the Judicial Fellows Programme. The programme runs from 12 September 2018 to 19 July 2019.
The Oxford Law Faculty is one of a group of leading law faculties around the world invited by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to participate in the ICJ’s Judicial Fellows Programme (formerly known as the ICJ's traineeship programme). The programme is similar to a judicial clerkship or judicial assistantship and provides an opportunity for one Oxford student or recent graduate to work for nearly a year at the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. The person selected works closely with the members of the Court by providing research assistance in support of their tasks, such as drafting opinions, orders and other court documents; preparing case files and researching a variety of legal issues.
