Roxana Willis has been awarded a knowledge exchange seed fund grant to fund research about the civil crisis in Cameroon.
Little is known about the ongoing civil crisis currently happening in Cameroon between the francophone majority and the anglophone minority. This project involves inviting a notable Cameroonian human rights lawyer to work with a research team in Oxford to co-develop a project that will impartially investigate the conflict. The visiting fellow will give presentations in Oxford, a network of academics and practitioners in Cameroon and Oxford will be established, a joint project will be created, and funding will be sought. Crucially, seeds will be sown for a mainstream conversation about the anglophone crisis in Cameroon to begin.
