Oxford Law Students win the Sixth HSF - NLU Delhi International Negotiation Competition
The Sixth HSF - NLU Delhi International Negotiation Competition took place from 6 – 8 September 2019 at National Law University Delhi, India.
38 teams from 11 countries spent the weekend negotiating simulated cross-border commercial deals. Teams were evaluated on their mastery of their clients’ commercial interests and their legal acumen. The negotiation simulations covered a wide spectrum of issues ranging from the acquisition of an Indian online dating platform by a European internet giant, to the negotiation of a memorandum relating to telecommunications investment between a State and a communications technology provider.
Ee Hsiun Chong (St John’s College) and Chaitanya Kediyal (Exeter College) represented the Oxford Law Faculty at the competition. The team prevailed over Macquarie University, Australia, to win the closely fought Grand Final.
