Dr Mimi Zou named one of the ‘40 under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australians’

Dr Mimi Zou, Fangda CDF in Chinese Commercial Law at St Hugh’s College and Co-founder of the Oxford Deep Tech Dispute Resolution Lab, has been included in the inaugural 40 under 40 Most Influential Asian Australian Awardee list as one of the top five finalists for the Education category. The list recognises the accomplishments of exceptional young Asian-Australian leaders in their fields as well as their track record in making a significant contribution to their community and their leadership in driving Australia’s engagement with Asia.

The Awards will be presented at a dinner for the AALS on Thursday 12 September at the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne, with a keynote speech from Adam Liaw, Celebrity Chef, Winner of Masterchef 2010, writer and television presenter.

The Awards have been decided by a panel of distinguished judges, including Joanna Gray (Managing Editor, Australian Financial Review), Adan Liaw (Masterchef), Chin Tan (Race Discrimination Commissioner, Australian Human Rights Commission), Penny Burtt (Group CEO, Asialink), Peter Varghese AO (Chancellor of the University of Queensland), Andrew Parker (Partner, PwC Australia), Naseema Sparks AM (Director, Arq Group), and Jason Johnson (Managing Partner, Johnson)
