New Paper by Luca Enriques on Pandemic-Resistant Corporate Law

A paper analysing temporary corporate law interventions for the Covid-19 emergency to safeguard corporations from existential threats and extreme uncertainty, has been written by Luca Enriques.

The paper offers insight into temporary measures suited for an immediate response to threats posed by the pandemic as well as approaches to tweaking corporate law in stable times to be prepared for similar emergencies in future by engendering adaptation mechanisms able to respond to assumed future crises. This paper broaches a need for novel evaluations in corporate law responses to crises both incumbent and future, where major strides are taking place in public law.
