The scholarship will be available to graduate students with a prior degree in Law at an Italian University demonstrating exceptional academic merit and/or potential commencing the MSc in Law and Finance at the Faculty.

Luca Enriques, Director of the MSc in Law and Finance, says

The establishment of the generous Intesa Sanpaolo Scholarship provides the opportunity for the best students from Italian Universities to join Oxford’s world-renowned Master in Law and Finance programme and become leaders in their profession. It will contribute to breeding a new generation of Italian lawyers who will be able to combine the functional and economics-oriented perspective of the MLF to the sophisticated doctrinal approach they are traditionally taught at Italian law Faculties.

One scholarship will be available in each academic year, unless the Scholarship is shared between two candidates, and the scholarship will provide the tuition and college fees in full. The scholarship will be awarded annually beginning in the academic year 2021-22 and ending in 2025-2026.
