The Oxford Handbook of International Refugee Law was launched at an online event recently. It provides state-of-the-art, comprehensive analysis of the field of international refugee law
The Handbook is edited by Cathryn Costello, Andrew W Mellon Professor of Refugee and Migration Law, Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford; Michelle Foster, Professor and Director of the Peter McMullin Centre on Statelessness, Melbourne Law School; and Jane McAdam, Scientia Professor and Director, Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law, UNSW Sydney.
Drawing together leading and emerging scholars, the Handbook provides both doctrinal and theoretical analyses of international refugee law and practice. It critiques existing law from a variety of normative positions, with several chapters identifying foundational flaws that open up space for radical rethinking.
The launch was held online and hosted by the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law. A video recording of the event and a podcast are available.
