What is Pathways to Law?
Pathways to Law is an illuminating, two-year programme run with the Sutton Trust that is designed to help students explore the legal profession and find out about studying law at university.
The 2021 – 2023 programme will initially take place virtually until we are able to deliver face-to-face programming safely. At this point we will transition to a mixed delivery format where in person events run alongside the resources on Sutton Trust Online. The in person events will offer great opportunities to meet students from across the UK, network with professionals, and develop your skills.
Why do we run the program?
The Sutton Trust champions social mobility from birth to the workplace so that all young people have the chance to succeed in life. Simply put we agree with this ethos! The purposes align with other programs offered at Oxford Law.
How to apply / Can I apply?
If you attend, and have always attended, a state-funded non-fee-paying school or college, are in Year 12 at the start of the program and live within a reasonable commuting distance of the university, you are eligible to apply. Since competition for places is higher, further criteria for entry and the application form can be found on The Sutton Trust Website.
