Biography
Nina Boss is a doctoral student and research assistant at the Department for Legal Sociology at the University of Bern.
Her dissertation examines maritime spatiality and the negotiation of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), exploring how legal frameworks shape and are shaped by spatial understandings of maritime territories and how legal realities are negotiated. Her research interests center on the intersection of spatiality and law, with particular focus on social and legal negotiation processes.
Nina studied Swiss, French, and international and comparative law in Fribourg, Paris, Zurich, and Berlin, worked as a junior research assistant at the University of Zurich.
