Biography
Victoria Kautzner is a doctoral student at the University of Göttingen, where she works as a research assistant at the Chair for Comparative Constitutional Law and Political Science.
Her research examines the historical entanglements of German nationality law with German colonialism and ethnic nationalism.
More broadly, her research explores the role of legal categories in processes of social ordering and exclusion, with particular attention to citizenship and migration.
Victoria studied law in Freiburg and Göttingen.
