Oxford GCRF Seminars Trinity 2017

Seminar 1: Tuesday 25th April || Seminar 2: Tuesday 16th May || Seminar 3: Tuesday 23rd May || Seminar 4: Tuesday 30th May

We are running a series of four seminars around the Global Challenges Research Fund. These will be hosted by the Oxford Martin School in their Seminar room on Tuesday evenings, providing consistency across the series. These seminars will commence at 4.30pm through to 6pm with a drinks reception networking opportunity following. The purpose is to ensure that we enable potential collaborations to develop in time before the next tranche of funding is released so we are prepared. They are open to all four Oxford Divisions, and we have also invited non-academic delivery partners.

The series is led by Prof Christopher Adam, (Head of ODID), with each seminar being chaired by a specialist in that area of work.

Seminar 1: Leave no one behind – to be led by Prof. Kevin Marsh, Tuesday 25th April

Seminar 2: Support peace and justice – to be led by Lord John Alderdice, Tuesday 16th May

Seminar 3: Sustainable economies and societies – to be led by Prof. Michael Keith, Tuesday 23rd May

Seminar 4: Research uptake working in DAC countries – to be led by Prof. Chris Adam,  Tuesday 30th May

We are inviting GCRF representatives from the research councils and the GCRF SAG to the seminars, and particularly seminar 4.

You are welcome to attend or share with colleagues you identify as working in the development area. Please register your intention to attend here https://oxfordgcrfseminars.eventbrite.com/?aff=email.
