AHRC Research Networking Highlight Call

This is a highlight notice for the AHRC networking grant scheme - which is an open call scheme accepting applications at any time. Applications under this highlight notice have a deadline of 28 February 2017. For more details about the open call networking scheme please see our AHRC Research Network call page.

This highlight notice is intended to encourage the development of research networking proposals which explore the contribution that arts and humanities research can make to challenges, policy and/or practice relating to international development. It also seeks to support the development of sustained international boundary crossing collaborations with Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs) which receive Official Development Assistance (ODA) (details are in the Highlight Notice Document) and/or with organisations which play an important role in supporting international development.

Additional funding is being made available through the networking scheme to support applications under this highlight notice as a part of the allocation to the AHRC under the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).

Award value:

Awards are for £30,000 and under this highlight notice £30,000 of supplementary funding is available specifically to enhance international activities, collaborations and participation (particularly in relation to LMICs)
