Study Landing Pages
Study landing pages provide programme-level information and are structured with three main sections: Banner, Introduction & Extra Information, and Page Builder. There is also a Listing Content section for when the page is referenced elsewhere on the site.
The banner appears at the top of the page with a large image and quote overlay:
Banner Components:
- Banner Image: Upload from computer or select from media library
- Banner Text: Appears in a blue box overlay on the image
- Optional Link: Can include a link within the banner text
Creating Quote Styling:
To format text as a quote in the banner:
- Select the text in the banner text field
- Choose "Heading 2" from the formatting dropdown
- This creates the proper quote styling as shown in the design
This section appears immediately below the banner and contains two parts:
Introduction:
- Main introductory text that appears under the page title
- Uses rich text editor with basic HTML formatting
- Should provide overview of the programme or study area
Extra Information:
- Additional content that appears on the right-hand side
- Often used for important dates, deadlines, or key information
- Also uses rich text editor with formatting options
The page builder allows flexible content creation using various elements:
Course List with Accordion:
- Displays courses in an expandable accordion format
- Includes title and introductory text for the accordion
- Each accordion item contains:
- Header (course name)
- Descriptive text
- Optional image
- Optional link to more information
Important Information Box:
Use the disclaimer element to add highlighted important information below course listings.
Course Landing Pages
Course landing pages provide detailed information about individual courses and include Course Header and Page Builder sections, plus Listing Content and Migrated Content sections.
The course header provides essential course information at the top of the page:
Banner Image:
- Simple banner image upload
- Below the banner, an in-page navigation appears automatically
Course Overview:
- Left-hand side content providing course description
- Rich text editor with full formatting options
- Should include comprehensive course information
Course Length:
- Appears at the top of the "In Brief" section
- Simple text field for duration information
Course Brief:
- Right-hand side "In Brief" section
- Flexible structure allowing text, bullet points, and links
- Key information for quick course understanding
Course Disclaimer:
- Optional highlighted information box
- Appears at the top of page content
- Use for important notices or requirements
Brochure Section:
To create a styled brochure display:
- Upload an image for the brochure cover
- Add a descriptive title
- Upload the brochure file or link to existing media library item
- Creates a professional download link with preview image
