6-Hour Stipendiary Lecturer in Criminal Law and Tort, Christ Church, Oxford

Christ Church intends to appoint a fixed-term Lecturer to provide up to six weighted hours of tutorial teaching per week during full term with effect from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021. This post is fixed-term because of the particular teaching needs in the academic year 2020/21.
The salary will be in the range of per annum £13,756 to £15,471 (current rates), plus allowances, according to qualifications and experience. New appointments are usually made at the first point of the scale.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide teaching for the University of Oxford undergraduate degree programmes in Criminal Law and Tort. Further details of the undergraduate syllabus are available from http://www.law.ox.ac.uk.
Preference will be given to candidates who have, or expect to have completed by 1 October 2020, a doctorate in Criminal Law or a related subject. Applicants should have higher education teaching experience in tutorial or small group settings, and a research record commensurate with the stage of their career.
