On Thursday 28th of November, from 12.30 to 14.00 at Seminar Room F (St. Cross Building), we'll have the pleasure of welcoming Hoi Kong (University of British Columbia). He will be presenting an excerpt of a manuscript he is currently working on, which is titled 'What Is the Canadian Constitution?'. Here is an abstract of the paper:

"In this brief text, I will answer the question, “What is the Canadian constitution?”. I begin by defining a constitution, generally, and identifying its conditions of legitimacy. I will then answer the question of what kind of a constitution the Canadian constitution is. I will close the text by showing how the answers to these questions are relevant to the interpretation of the Canadian constitution."
