Researching Wrongful Convictions: An informal seminar with Professor Jon Gould

Carolyn Hoyle will host an informal seminar with Jon Gould, Professor of Public Affairs and Law at the American University. Professor Gould has written widely on indigent defence, prosecutorial misconduct & innovation, police behaviour, hate speech, sexual harassment and international human rights. He is perhaps best known for his extensive research on wrongful convictions and this will be the focus of his talk in Oxford. Jon will talk about his current research and future plans, you’ll hear brief presentations from one or two of our current DPhil students working in this area, and then we’ll open up for Q & A.
