The Principle of Mutual Recognition in the EU's Area of Freedom, Security and Justice, by Judge Lenaerts

Judge Koen Lenaerts gave the annual (and fourth) lecture in honour of Sir Jeremy Lever on Friday 30 January, in the Gulbenkian Lecture Theatre of the Oxford Law Faculty. Judge Lenaerts took as his title - 'The Principle of Mutual Recognition in the EU's Area of Freedom, Security and Justice'. Judge Lenaerts is Vice President of the Court of Justice of the European Union and Professor of Law at the University of Leuven. The Chair for the event was taken by Lord Neuberger, President of the Supreme Court. The hosts were, in addition to the Oxford Law Faculty, All Souls College and Monckton Chambers.
