Horst Eidenmüller, Freshfields Professor of Commercial Law, has been elected as an ordinary member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. Professor Eidenmüller has been elected as a member of Class V (Social Sciences, Law and Economics) of the Academy.
The European Academy of Sciences and Arts was founded in 1990 in Salzburg in Austria. Members of the academy are nominated by a committee and elected by the Senate of the Academy. Among its members are 29 Nobel laureates.
