Emeritus Professor David Vaver appointed as a member of the Order of Canada

David Vaver, Emeritus Professor of Intellectual Property & Information Technology Law was appointed as a member of the Order of Canada for "leadership in intellectual property law as a scholar and mentor" in the Canada Day Honours List published on 30 June.

The Order of Canada, established in 1967, is one of the country's highest civilian honours and recognizes Canadians who have been high achievers in their fields, or have shown dedication or service to their community and country.
