IP Australia appoints Professor Robert Burrell to review the Trade Marks Office Manual of Practice and Procedure

Professor Robert Burrell and Professor Michael Handler (UNSW) have entered into a pro bono arrangement with IP Australia to help review the Trade Marks Office Manual of Practice and Procedure.  The Manual is an official publication of IP Australia, the agency which administers patents, trade marks, registered designs and plant breeder's rights in Australia. The Manual contains detailed information on practices and procedures relating to aspects of the filing, examination, and registration of a trade mark and is widely used by practitioners as well as by those working within the Office.
