• The FIPRA/EJF/INDR conference on 22 September ‘Better Regulation - Defining a Progressive Approach’;
• The British Standards Institution’s ‘Enhancing UK global impact: The role of Quality Infrastructure in delivering trade and development objectives’ seminar for 70 senior UK government officials on 29 September;
• The Office for Product Safety & Standards’ ‘International Inspection Reform’ conference on 6 October;
• seminars on regulation for the Community of Federal Regultors of Canada and for the Australian Treasury, and ongoing discussions with various regulators in UK.
