Biography

Professor Ignacio Campoy Cervera is a senior Lecturer with tenure at the University Carlos III of Madrid; Assistant Department Head of the International Law, Ecclesiastical Law and Philosophy of Law Department; and Member of the Institute of Human Rights “Bartolomé de las Casas”, of the University Carlos III of Madrid.

Has a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid (June 1991) and Doctor of Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Outstanding cum laude, May 7, 2001, obtaining then the Extraordinary Doctoral Award: Program Law: Fundamental Rights Program on 21 February 2003).

Research interests are focused mainly on children's rights, the rights of persons with disabilities, the rights of children with disabilities, the inclusive education and the concept and grounds of human rights. And the purpose of this stay of research is for developing a research project on the concept and grounds of the right to inclusive education.
