Presentation Abstract

In this lecture, "AI and the Future of Regulation: Unlocking Growth in Economic Productivity While Safeguarding Society ", participants will have the opportunity to explore the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and increasing economic productivity. AI has the potential to transform various sectors, streamlining tasks and driving the creation of new professions. However, it is also important to discuss the implications for the job market and possible negative effects.

Throughout the presentation, strategies and solutions to address the challenges brought by AI will be discussed. These measures are important to mitigate undesirable impacts and ensure that AI adoption is beneficial for society as a whole.

In addition, the lecture will address the need to prevent the concentration of technology in the hands of a few companies and the challenges in implementing global regulations. Participants will have the chance to reflect on the role of governments and institutions in preventing potential humanitarian and economic disasters caused by AI, thus ensuring a promising and sustainable future.
