Coalition to Close Campsfield: Organising Against Immigration Detention in Oxfordshire

The Coalition to Close Campsfield is organising against the newly reopened “immigration removal centre” Campsfield, just outside Oxford. The Campaign has its roots in 1993, when the detention centre was first opened. After being closed in 2018, the detention centre was reopened in 2025 and expanded its capacity after a £70 million refurbishment. The Home Office is currently seeking to expand the detention centre by more than doubling its size. Come and learn from campaigners about their work and how to get involved.
