Comparative Reflections in Private Law: Essays in Honour of Simon Whittaker

This mini‑conference celebrates the publication of 'Comparative Reflections in Private Law: Essays in Honour of Simon Whittaker' (OUP 2026), edited by Marco Cappelletti, Ciara Kennefick and Dorota Leczykiewicz.
Distinguished invited speakers— Jordan English, Helen Scott, Lionel Smith, Sandy Steel, Robert Stevens, and Catherine Valcke—will each offer reflections on selected chapters from the volume, engaging with their key themes in contract, tort and unjust enrichment.
The conference will take place in two sessions, from 14:30–16:00 and 16:30–18:00, with a coffee break between the sessions and a drinks reception to follow.
