We’re excited to launch the inaugural session of the Contemporary India Dialogues on 7 May in Oxford.

Join Prof. Devesh Kapur (Johns Hopkins SAIS) and Dr. Arvind Subramanian (former Chief Economic Advisor to the Government of India) in conversation with Prof. Akshay Mangla (SBS) on their recent book “A Sixth of Humanity: Independent India’s Development Odyssey.”

The Contemporary India Dialogues is a collaborative platform bringing together the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development, Saïd Business School, the Blavatnik School of Government, and the Centre for South Asian Studies at OSGA. The series aims to convene leading scholars and practitioners to engage with some of the most pressing challenges shaping contemporary India.
