An Exclusive Alumni Workshop
Law to Entrepreneurship
Outline and Details
We are delighted to welcome our alumnus, Dr David H. Moskowitz, back to the Faculty of Law as a guest speaker.
Dr David studied at Wadham College, University of Oxford, where he was mentored by the renowned legal philosopher Professor H.L.A. Hart, author of The Concept of Law. Their work together shaped David’s doctoral research, culminating in his D.Phil. from Oxford in 1963. Following Oxford, David built a distinguished 50-year legal career spanning real estate, corporate, municipal and international law.
Join us for an interactive Career Skills Workshop exploring how transferable skills can support a varied and successful career.
Drawing on Dr David’s experience across law, entrepreneurship, international business and writing, the session will explore communication, adaptability, networking, leadership and commercial awareness, alongside spotting opportunities, the advantages and disadvantages of specialisation, and ethical considerations.
The workshop will also provide an opportunity for students to ask questions, hear practical insights from David’s career journey, and consider how these skills can be applied to their own career development.
