The family justice response to domestic abuse: a six country empirical study of the experiences of survivors, judges, lawyers and court-appointed experts

The purpose of the conference is to launch the report based on qualitative research that was conducted in the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Bosnia & Herzegovina. We interviewed judges, lawyers, psychologist and survivors to understand how the family justice system in each of these countries responds to victims of domestic violence.

The project and the conference are generously funded by two research grants from the Oak Foundation.
