From Subjective Criminal Fault to Relational Responsibility? Deontological Challenges to the Correspondence Principle
Abstract: This conference will explore how contemporary forms of individual and corporate responsibility reveal structural tensions in the traditional link between culpability and cognitive awareness. It will consider whether a renewed focus on practical reasoning and relational responsibility can constitute a principled normative foundation for criminal fault in contexts of structural inequality and complex wrongdoing.
