About

Modern and clean digital art showing people discussing or working together. Include symbols of voting like ballots or ballot boxes. Add digital network or web patterns to show technology and information. Use colors inspired by the Romanian flag (blue, yellow, red) subtly in the background. Keep it simple, professional, and minimal with mostly blue and white colors.

This is the first seminar in InfoLead's Online Seminar series.

The discussion will focus on the role of civil society in electoral contexts affected by foreign interference and disinformation. Speakers from Romanian civil society organisations will share recent experiences, and best practices, in safeguarding democratic processes in the lead-up to the most recent Romanian presidential elections.

On the panel, will be:

Cezara Grama, rule of law expert and consultant, working with the World Bank Group and Expert Forum — a think tank based in Bucharest and with expertise in promoting active citizenry, and fighting fake news and disinformation.

Bogdan Manolea, Executive Director of Association for Technology and Internet - ApTI, the only digital rights organization in Romania. Bogdan has over 20 decades of experience working in the intersection of technology and law.

Attila Biro, co-founder of CONTEXT, an independent media start-up focused on exposing corruption, fraud, and organized crime.

InfoLead's online seminar series engages policy makers and legal professionals in conversation around best practices, and troubleshooting opportunities, in confronting evolving technology and crises.
