Join us next Monday, 17th November, to watch a short film about immigration detention, learn about the Coalition to Keep Campsfield Closed and find out how to get involved in opposing the reopening of a detention centre in Oxfordshire!

Removed (2025) is a short film about gendered violence, resistance and solidarity in immigration detention made collaboratively by academics, activists and people with lived experience of detention.
The screening will be followed by a conversation on immigration detention and the local Coalition to Keep Campsfield Closed that will include academic and activist perspectives, with speakers from Border Criminologies, the Association of Visitors to Immigration Detainees (AVID) and the Coalition to Keep Campsfield Closed.

This event is jointly organized by STAR (Student Action for Refugees), Cuntry Living Zine at the University of Oxford and Border Criminologies.
