Prof. Tim Wu, Columbia University (former Special Assistant to US President Biden for Technology and Competition Policy)
The discussion will explore the rise of corporate power and the enforcement of competition and antitrust laws. Among the various themes, we will discuss the scope and limits of competition law enforcement, the growth agenda, and the way it impacts enforcement, and the way in which dominant tech platforms manipulate attention, extract wealth, and deepen inequality.
