The Family and Medical Law Discussion Group (FMLDG) is pleased to welcome Professor Michael Ashley Stein, co-founder and Executive Director of the Harvard Law School Project on Disability, to give an online talk on the development of a new United Nations (UN) Treaty on the Rights of Older Persons. The talk will draw upon his experience of participating in the drafting of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and his world-leading expertise in disability law and policy. This will be followed by Q&A. 

The event will be hybrid: the in-person venue is the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights on the grounds of Mansfield College, Mansfield Road, Oxford OX1 3TF, whilst this Teams link can be used to join online.
