The Right to Dignity in the European Asylum System

We are pleased to announce that next Wednesday we will host Professor Rebecca-Emmanuela Papadopoulou, who is a Professor in European Union Law at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Rebecca-Emmanuela will discuss her paper on 'The Right to Dignity in the European Asylum System'. This is a great opportunity for us to discuss EU Asylum and migration policy, EU administrative law, but also the controversial principle of mutual trust in the EU.
The seminar will be held on Wednesday, 08 February 2023, 1pm - 2pm (UK time).
As always, this event will be hybrid. For those of you in Oxford, please come at Somerville College, New Powell Room. A light sandwich lunch will be offered from 12.30pm. For those of you who want to join online, please sign up to receive an invitation to the webinar. We will send you the Teams link a day before the webinar.
Please also note that Professor Papadopoulou has sent us her draft paper. For those of you who are planning to come in person (and thus won't fill in the registration form), but still want to read the paper, please send us an email to ask for it.
