Adam Perry and Ian Williams awarded full Professorships
Associated people
The annual Recognition of Distinction exercise confers the title of full Professor on those selected. This year we congratulate Adam Perry, Professor of Law, and Ian Williams, Professor of Legal History.
Professor Perry writes and teaches in administrative law, constitutional law and the philosophy of law. Professor Williams teaches across legal history, trusts, land law and Roman law, and his research interests are centred on English legal history.
Recognition of Distinction Awards are assessed using three criteria: a research record showing significant influence, recognition and excellence in the chosen field; a record of effective teaching and involvement in University administration; ‘good citizenship’ activities such as holding a college or University office, service on committees, or leadership in equality and diversity.
Congratulations to Professors Perry and Williams!
