Alumna Julia Black awarded Damehood in King's Birthday Honours

Professor Julia Black, an alumna of the Faculty of Law, has been awarded a Damehood in the King’s Birthday Honours List for outstanding contributions to research in the arts, humanities and social sciences.

Professor Black is currently Warden of Nuffield College and President of the British Academy.

She completed both her Bachelor's degree and PhD in Law at the University of Oxford.
