Congratulations to Judge Baka on his appointment as President of Hungary

The HuRiEE team looks back fondly on the Conference on Judicial Activism and Resistance in Eastern Europe, which we co-organised with Professor Ramona Coman in Brussels in June 2025. The conference brought together judges, scholars and practitioners from across Europe, including Judge Baka. It is especially meaningful to revisit the gathering in light of his appointment as President of Hungary.
