Launch of new LGBT+ Rights Discussion Group
Associated people
A new LGBT+ Rights Discussion Group (LRDG) has been launched in the Faculty, providing a dedicated forum for anyone interested in engaging with LGBT+ issues from both legal and broader human rights perspectives.
The group serves as an interdisciplinary hub, fostering discussion from a legal standpoint and also by drawing on insights from sociology, history, politics and gender studies. Open to all members of the University, the group usually meets twice each term.
Arifur Rahman, a DPhil student in Law, is the group's founder and convener, with Nicholas Bamforth serving as senior member.
Visit the LRDG page on the Faculty website to find out more and discover how to get involved.
