New Book: Engaging Raz: Themes in Normative Philosophy
Associated people

Engaging Raz: Themes in Normative Philosophy is a collection of new and original work by over twenty thinkers, all engaging in one way or another with the work of legal philosopher, Joseph Raz.
Joseph Raz was not only a leading figure in moral, political, and legal philosophy in the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries, but also a central member of our intellectual community at Oxford, a mentor for many graduate students (several of whom among our Faculty today), and the Professor of Philosophy of Law.
The book is a tribute to Raz’s work and influence, co-edited by Andrei Marmor, Kim Brownlee, and David Enoch, Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Faculty.
It has been published by Oxford University Press. It is now available in electronic form and will be published in print in the UK in May 2025 and in the US in July 2025.
