Nazila Ghanea, Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief and Professor of International Human Rights Law, has published the UN report "How freedom of religion or belief relates to death and honouring the deceased". In this report, she makes recommendations relating to the respect and promotion of funeral rights.
