Wadham college awards four graduate Law scholarships annually as follows:
The Donner Canadian Foundation-Wadham College Law Scholarship is open to any applicant for the BCL or MJur who is ordinarily resident in Canada. The award is of £22,000, which may be put towards either fees or living expenses, and is of one year's duration.
The Kalisher Trust-Wadham Scholarship is open to UK residents applying for the MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice. The award offers £6,000 towards University fees, through the generosity of the Kalisher Trust, plus college fees paid in full by Wadham College.
The Peter Carter Graduate Scholarship in Law is open to any applicant for the BCL, MJur, MPhil in Law or DPhil in Law. The award is of £10,000 per year.
The Peter Carter Taught Graduate Scholarship in Law is open to any applicant for the BCL or the MJur. The award is of £12,500 and of one year's duration.
For the three scholarships other than the Kalisher Trust, There is no separate application procedure; eligible candidates do not need to name Wadham as their preferred college and will be considered on the basis of their application for the programme in question. If the successful applicant has previously been accepted by another college, her/his application will be transferred to Wadham and the candidate will become a member of that College.
Applicants for the Kalisher Trust-Wadham Scholarship must complete a separate application available from the Centre for Criminology.
