Cornelia Sorabji Scholarship
Somerville College and Faculty of Law
This scholarship was established in memory of the first woman and first Indian to gain a law degree at Oxford, and the first woman to practice law in India, Cornelia Sorabji, who studied at Somerville from 1889-1992.
It is funded by Somerville College, Faculty of Law and the Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development through the generous support of donors. Award-holders will become members of Somerville College.
Applicants must submit their Graduate Programme applications to the University of Oxford by the January application deadline.
