The inaugural 42 Bedford Row Disability Law Essay Prize-Giving Ceremony and panel discussion is the newest event in our Disability and Law series. The Essay Prize has been set up to draw attention to the professional challenges faced by legal practitioners and academics who work in fields in which issues relating to disability frequently arise and will focus on issues affecting people with a disability and the way in which these issues interact with family law

The Prize-Giving Ceremony and panel discussion will be held on the 5th February at 5pm in the Gillese-Badun Seminar Room, Wadham College. Essay-Prize judges will include Tina Cook QC, leading family law barrister at 42 Bedford Row, Professor Jonathan Herring and DM Wolfe-Clarendon, Fellow in Law at the University of Oxford.  This panel of distinguished barristers and academics will discuss the title of the essay and announce the competition winners. The ceremony will be followed by a drinks reception.
